Your French trainer will tailor your course entirely to suit your requirements and pace. You will practice topics that are essential to your particular job. Grammar and vocabulary will be dealt with as appropriate for your goals. But it doesn’t stop there. Learning a language is about more than just grammar rules and vocab. The culture is important too. For example, you learn why you should never use the familiar tu form when talking to a French-speaking business partner, but should always address him or her with vous . “Understanding the French culture and mindset is just as important,” says French language trainer Anne Poisseroux. Finding the right training solutions for the growing team of X2O

As a Happiness Officer at X2O my responsibilities include finding the right training solutions for my colleagues. As X2O is currently rapidly expanding in Belgium and abroad, I contacted BLCC to help me organise language courses via Cevora. I decided to take a French course myself too, since I haven't used French in my career over the past years, which makes it difficult to communicate with my French-speaking employees. My training went very well. My teacher really makes an effort to understand my professional context and to support me in how to deal with specific cases in French.

De opleiding Engels is enthousiast gegeven door coach Fabienne met afwisseling van diverse topics: work-lifebalance, hobby's, wensen, slaap, kledij, LinkedIn, (glim)lachen, small talk, nieuws, krantenkoppen, idioms en nog véél meer. Fabienne gebruikte filmpjes, luister- en invuloefeningen en rollenspellen om grammar, vocabulary en the tenses een luchtige manier op te frissen. Huiswerk werd positief ervaren en goed voorbereid om te bespreken op de volgende sessie. Ook de multiculturele achtergrond van onze groep werd positief ingezet tijdens de lessen. Improving the relationship with clients in Latin America.

During my Spuage skills. We followed the banish course with Claudio, we started with a lot of communication to access and develop my langook as a guide, especially for the grammar, but added plenty of work and hobby related topics. I find it easier to digest grammar when I can connect it to something useful and interesting. The course was fully adapted to my learning preferences! Now after having taken several Spanish courses at BLCC, it is much easier for me to follow conversations. While English is still the main language for doing business, I've found that offering Spanish as communication channel usually improves the relationship with my clients in Latin America.

At first, I was hesitant towards virtual learning formats like distance learning, probably because it is intimidating to be alone with a teacher in a virtual classroom. Now, I am happy with my choice to go digital! I have significantly improved my level of English in a short period of time. Indeed, this tailor-made language course took my current language level into account, as well as my objectives and personal job context. Our lessons focussed on my linguistic shortcomings. And when necessary, I could ask my teacher Jacques for additional exercises on certain subjects.
