BLCC ensures that you can entrust us with your personal data in complete safety.
In the contacts you have with BLCC we collect and process a number of personal data.
Below we provide you with more information about which personal data we process and how we handle this.
BLCC shall only process the necessary personal data in the context of the execution of an agreement (e.g. purchase of language or communication training, ...), a legitimate or justified interest (e.g. direct marketing, request for quotation, ...) or according to legal provisions ( e.g. processing data from own employees).
It goes without saying that BLCC shall secure all data well. To this end, we take the necessary technical and organisational measures, BLCC provides the necessary physical protections, regular updates of hardware and software, strong password management, secure internet connections and uses antivirus software to achieve the same goal.
Personal data processed by BLCC shall not be passed on to third parties, unless the transfer is part of an agreement to be executed (e.g. providing training, granting access to e-learning tools, e-assessment tools, etc.). Such third party shall process the data shared according to the GDPR legislation (e.g. do not use for own purposes, adequately protect the data, etc.).
Prospects via the website can indicate whether they wish to be e-mailed by subscribing to our newsletter on our website. Nevertheless, unsubscribing can be done in a simple way at any time, so that you no longer receive these mailings .
If BLCC wishes to process your personal data for another reason, we will ask for your explicit permission.

Sharing of personal data by BLCC:
BLCC may share the personal data processed with partners and suppliers in case the processing by such third parties is necessary for the realisation of our services.
Agreements have always been concluded with these third parties limiting the use and processing of your personal data and offering sufficient protection of your personal data.
If your consent is required by law or we believe that your consent is required depending on the circumstances, we will always ask for your consent before sharing or transferring your personal data to a country outside the European Economic Area.
As a party involved or data subject, you have the right to view your personal data, have your personal data corrected, erase, limit processing, transfer to another data controller, object to the processing and refuse automatic decision-making. The latter does not apply to BLCC. We do not engage in automatic decision-making or profiling.
All communications related to the processing shall be distributed in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible form and in clear and plain language.
The information is provided in writing or by other means such as electronic means. If the data subject submits an electronic inquiry, the information will be provided electronically unless otherwise requested. Information can only be communicated orally on condition that the identity of the data subject is proven by other means.

Response period
Within one month of receipt of the request, BLCC shall inform the person concerned about the result. Even if BLCC does not comply with the request, the data subject will be informed with an explanation as to why the request has not been followed up. The data subject is also informed about the possibility to file a complaint with a supervisory authority and to lodge an appeal with the court.
The standard response time of one month can be extended by two months if necessary. The person concerned must be informed of the extension within one month.
Cost
The necessary information is provided free of charge. Unless the data subject's request is excessive or unfounded due to the repetitive nature. In that case there are two options.
