You should also expose yourself to that foreign language as much as possible (exposure). Therefore, look for a godfather or godmother who is a native speaker. This person commits to speaking only the target language with you. He takes on a motivational role in the first place. You can also choose to formalise this role and actually involve the godfather or godmother in your learning process.
