There has been a tremendous amount written about this and there are plenty of good definitions. Mostly, though, people talk about blended learning to mean the combination of classroom face-to-face training and e-learning.
Over the years, the term has become somewhat old-fashioned. Mainly because the definition is limiting. The combinations of learning formats and deployment of technology have become much richer over the years. Therefore, 'omnichannel learning' is presumably the successor to blended learning.
